About Sherry
Sherry has been involved in
music for most of her life and she remembers
when she was fourteen and playing her guitar in
her bedroom, writing songs, when she suddenly
knew she would be writing music for God. This
was before she had even given her life to Jesus!
Sherry joined a band called Crimson Blue, whose
main focus was prison ministry. After six years
in ministry with Prisoners For Christ in
Woodinville, WA, the members of Crimson Blue
went their separate ways. In the summer of 2009,
Sherry and other local musicians formed a new
group called Grace Road, a Christian band
focused on original music that tells something
about the journey they have in Christ.
Sherry's goal is to worship the Lord Jesus
Christ through music, and using music as a
powerful medium to bringing people into the
presence of God. Sherry believes that God is at
work in our world, bringing hope and salvation
to countless men and women.
Sherry earned a degree in music from Washington
State University, where she studied oboe, voice,
and flute. It was there where she met her
husband, Kurt, who is a PK (Pastor’s Kid) and
through Kurt she rekindled her relationship with
Jesus Christ in 1995. She lives in Bellevue with
Kurt and their sons David and Jack.
Sherry's church home is in Woodinville, WA,
where she serves as a worship leader and on the
worship team. |
